There is also no shortage of golf here. The exclusive 18-hole “Eichenheim” golf course is just three minutes from Jochberg. Other golf courses are the “Schwarzsee” golf club, the “Schloss Kaps” golf club, and perfect for beginners, the “Rasmushof” 9-hole course.
The region is ideally suited for hiking or trekking tours over one or several days. A range of routes starts in Jochberg and Kitzbühel, with a total of 15,000 km of well-kept and marked hiking and mountain trails leading through the Tyrol. The total length of the Tyrolean cycle paths is 10,000 km, of which 4,000 km meets the criteria of the so-called Tyrolean mountain bike model (approved expressly for bikers, uniformly signposted and classified according to levels of difficulty, in the same way as ski-runs).
A walking tour to the Sintersbach waterfall, not far from Jochberg, gives you a terrific natural spectacle. At a height of 1,298 metres the water of the Sintersbach waterfall plunges 85 metres into the depths. The mid-grade route of around 9 kilometres can be completed in approximately 4 hours.
